Supporting our Girl Gang

No one rallies behind each other quite like our #GirlGang does. The support of our community has allowed our all-women run company to give back to our #GirlGang by donating to The Huntsman Cancer Institute and The Intermountain Cancer Center - Logan. Throughout the month of October, we have donated $10,000 worth of comfy pink sweatshirts to uplift women battling cancer and who are currently undergoing Chemo Treatment. 

The handwritten notes & hand tied sweatshirts made it all that much more special. As our team gathered around to write notes our eyes were all opened to how each one of our lives had been affected by a Breast Cancer diagnosis. Whether it's an immediate family member or someone close to you, we realized that we are all in this fight together. As we visited The Intermountain Cancer Center Logan and Huntsman Cancer Institute where we were truly touched by the gratitude that we were met with. The nurses were so excited to share the sweatshirts with their patients. 

During this month of awareness, Nani is reminding women everywhere to focus on their health and to get regular check-ups.  Breast cancer is the most common cancer found in women, regardless of race or ethnicity. In fact, one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. There are 25 million breast cancer survivors in the United States today. The American Cancer Society advises women to have regular mammograms starting at the age of 40.
