Tips From Our Photographer

At Nani Swimwear, we are fortunate to work with some of the best photographers in the industry who have helped us create beautiful imagery that has contributed to our brand's success. In this blog post, our in-house photographer, Tacy will be sharing some valuable tips that will help you create stunning visuals. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your photography skills, these tips will help you achieve beautiful and effective imagery that accurately represents your brand.

TIPS FROM OUR PHOTOGRAPHER

  1. 1. Location is key! Choose a location that complements the swimwear and enhances the overall mood of the shoot. We base our shoots off of collection names and swimsuit designs. Choosing a location based on the collection allows for the pictures to feel organic and authentic.

  1. 2. Lighting is so important. Natural light is our go-to for outdoor shoots. Early morning or late afternoon light provides soft and flattering light, while midday sun can create harsh shadows. If shooting indoors, look for photo studio spaces that have large windows and allow for natural light to get in.

    1. 3. Posing the models is key for authentic photos! Bring props, this will make the model and the photos look and feel more comfortable. Encourage the model to create movement.

      1. 4. Post-shoot practices, editing can help enhance the final product by adjusting colors, exposure, and other aspects of the image. However, it's important not to overdo it and maintain a natural look that accurately represents the swimwear.

        1. 5. Collaborate! Work closely with your team to ensure that the images accurately reflect the brand identity and vision. By collaborating, you can create a more cohesive and effective visual representation of the brand.
